Dear Family. I’m so sorry I won’t be able to share this day with you as I’m leaving Victoria on Monday and will be on the road till Saturday. We all love Paulie so much and that smile will stay with us forever. Rest in peace Paul.
I wish Hawaii wasn’t so far away I wish I could be there with you all to celebrate the life of one of the most beautifully kind-hearted men I have had the privilege to call my uncle Paul he always had a smile on his face and a way of making you feel welcome when you were around him wether you knew him a little or a lot he was friendly & loved to talk with everyone. I feel like we won the dad lotteries when two brothers Paul & Owen decided to start there families all those decades ago because they are both such amazing fathers and they are very much missed by all of their very lucky children & grandchildren & great grandchildren❤️ much love & Aloha to all of my 1st cousins & 2nd cousins & now 3rd cousins, oh my goodness all of us 1st cousins are so old already lots of Love & Aloha to you all ❤️
A man of “our time”! It was my privilege to have travelled parts of the North Island with him, and I have the memories of that and Aussie meet-ups afterwards. From me in the UK, take it steady Paulo on the next part of your cosmic journey! Much love and fond wishes. Kev.
To Fonzie and family….didn’t know your dad but if his son and family are anything to go by then he was a wonderful man father grandfather uncle and brother to his family. Apologies for not being there for you Fonzie but will be thinking of you all and we can have a little drink to dad in May. God Bless and stay strong brother. Dad will be proud of you all. Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to share this goodbye to Paul and celebration of the beautiful man he was. We are very thankful for the times we have been able to spend with him in NZ and Australia. He really was one of the nicest men you’d ever meet. Dear Rachel, Michael, Dan and Brendan. Our deepest sympathies to you and to all who loved Paul. He was a wonderful person and a true gentleman. We have wonderful memories of when Paul and Patsy visited all the Dunne families in Ireland and also of the wonderful welcome they gave to Eoinluc, Aisling, Cormac, Pat and I in Wavell Heights. They were a very special couple who were kind and generous. We remember them fondly. They would be very proud of the beautiful service and lovely tribute Dan gave to Paul. May he and Patsy rest in peace together. From your cousin Clare and family in Ireland.
