Hi Mark I remember Noel coming over to our farm at McDesme Rd Ayr working with my father Arthur Davey to build the first ever over row cane harvester in the late 60’s & 70’s. Dad had the big vision, big shed & Noel had the engineering expertise. A passion they both shared. Sad for them they didn’t secure a patent. Fond memories. Sorry to hear of Noel’s passing – My father bought 2 Chamberlain tractors from Noel in 1970. Years later went on to have them both articulated. Oh Joanne, im so very sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. He was such a beautiful person. I remember him so fondly teaching us dances for the fancy dress balls at St Colman’s when I was in primary school. He was such a stoic man who never got angry with us but rather made it such fun. My heart truly is breaking for you and your family. May God continue to Bless him and your family.
Dear Joanne your eulogy about your father’s life was perfect in every way. Showed so much about the man , husband , father and grandfather . What a blessing it was that he lived so close to you and was constantly in your lives. A truly wonderful man. God bless .
Ralph and I have so many fond memories of Noel. Such a gentleman and always kind and caring. We worked for Noel at Burtrax for many years, what a great boss and person he was. He always arrived to work singing and always happy. We were very honoured when Noel agreed to be our MC for our wedding it was so special. We will miss you, God bless. Ralph and Lina Vartuli
