Firstly, our sincere condolences to you and your extended family, during this time of loss.
We had the pleasure of living next to & across from Neta for a number of years & now are actually living in number 26, where she lived for a long while. She loved her garden & would probably tell me; “it looks a bloody mess” now. Not up to the standard she kept it!
A beautiful soul and a wonderful lady, who was delightfully straight to the point. Always a great neighbour & keeping an eye out when I wasn’t there. We do miss her and her sense of humour.
Sadly, we can’t be there today to celebrate a life so well lived.
Safe travels Neta.
Love
Michael & Jenny.

Thank you all for a lovely service. So good to see all the kids together again. “Fierce devotion” is the perfect descriptor for this amazing woman. I thank her, Ed and you kids for being there for me and numerous other Appys ‘back in the day’. There were things done for us, and advice given to us, that stay with me to this day, over 40 years later. Such was their impact and examples of the fierce devotion she and Ed had no need to provide, but did anyway. Thank you all. RIP together again.

The Mealy clan, my thoughts and prayers are with you all today. I am greatful to have shared a couple of hours with ‘Mum Mealy’ whioe she was recently in Canberra. A few laughs reminiscing and sharing stories is a wonderful memory for me. A takeaway of the day for me is the love of her family, and her joy at soon being reunited with Ed. Bless you all. As a 16 1/2 year old Army Apprentice, your mum and dad cared for and loved a group of appies that would come to call them mum and dad. I was blessed to be included in that group and to spend time with them and you all. Your mum was and will always be cherished in my heart and remembered fondly for the loving and caring person she was. You made a beautiful farewell for her and I know your mum and dad were watching you, arm in arm, and they are so very proud of each and every one of you. God bless your beautiful mum, and each of you and your families as you gather to celebrate her this afternoon.
Love and my deepest sympathy to each of you

Mum we miss you without a doubt, but you are now with your one true love and we will as your children remain together and uphold your values of supporting each other and remain in contact for all the occasions like Christmas etc… but also through our life experiences. We will remain the the glue that binds that you instilled in us. I will proudly hold the virtues you instilled in me to love fiercely, stand for myself tenaciously and above all honour my own values. Thank you mum for all the times you were present, for being there. You consoled through my miscarriages and encouarged to me give it another go and Lewis was born a miracle. You were there whilst I was pregnant with twins another miracle, but then I lost one you did not falter you kept coming back km away u returned everytime I was in hospital you were there then my girl was born it was hard and you reassured me she would against hope survive, She did we shared that, you shared that with all your daughters. I miss the strong, tenacious beautiful, funny loving mum.
