Margie, you were always the most colourful person in the room. The world is a little less sparkly now. Who will champion the animals? Find beauty in everything, Freddie mercury in particular? Thank you for my love of musicals, late night craft and hours of watching the Labyrinth. I will always keep my Wilfred Street memories close. You are so missed. To Margie’s nearest and dearest, how lucky to be loved by her and what a gift of fabulous memories she has left you with.

Margie was an incredible friend and work mate which puzzles me at times since Margie worked on island time arriving with a big smile wearing the most colourful of clothes when most staff were having morning tea. In many ways Margie reminded me of Dame Edna Everage with her flair for her dress and making an entrance.
There is lots to miss about Margie and be missed she will be and more so by her beautiful daughters and siblings

I am so sorry for you loss. Margie was like another mum / aunty to me. Her joyful smile and beautiful personality lights up every room. The world is a bit darker having lost her but heaven is a bit brighter recieving her.

Such a beautiful tribute to a truly unique person and much loved person. I was going to say ‘Rest in Peace’, but I think Margie will be living it up in heaven. My thoughts are with all the Stapleton family, but in particular Tashy,Lucy and Marita.
Margie, I have very found memories of you as a child. You were always so kind and loving to me. I wish I could have told you that later in life. I still remember your beautiful smile and kindness you spread everywhere you went. I’m sure you will be deeply missed by everyone who knew you. Such a big loss.
