Hi Deb, Michelle Astridge here.. your gorgeous mum taught me in kindy/preschool .. She was simply the most gorgeous women.. I have so many gorgeous memories from those days .. The plays/musical she put on with Mrs Bellert and Mrs Groth.. I played the octopus in The garden under the sea.. I remember the practise and the performance. The Drunken Sailor song. Mum and Auntie Penny painted the ship on corrugated cardboard. the timber reels we had in the playground, the replenishing of the tambark in the playground, sleeping on our mats . The cuddles she gave us when we were upset. I remember coming to your place for swims in your pool.. I was so honoured to have her at my 50th birthday party. I will cherish those memories forever. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mum will be forever missed . Sorry I can’t be there for her funeral. I will be watching the live stream. Take care and lots of love to you .
